Terms of Service

1. Definitions

  • "Slidix", "we", "us" — the operator of the Service, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
  • "Service" — the Slidix website at slidix.co and the AI slideshow generator and related features.
  • "You", "User" — the individual or entity using the Service.
  • "User Content" — URLs, text, images and other materials you provide or upload.
  • "Generated Content" — slides, copy and assets produced by the Service from your input.
  • "Credits" — the metered units used to access certain features.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Slidix at slidix.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for business use (e.g. founders, marketers, creators). We may refuse or discontinue service to anyone at our discretion.

4. Accounts and Security

You may sign in via Google or other supported methods. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at plexytuner@gmail.com of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses resulting from your failure to secure your account.

5. Description of the Service

Slidix is an AI slideshow generator. You provide a product URL or other input; we analyze it and use AI to generate slides with copy and images in a 9:16 format suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. The Service includes account creation, project storage, downloadable decks, and an optional TikTok integration. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time, with or without notice.

6. User Content

You are responsible for the User Content you provide and represent that you have all necessary rights to use it and to allow us to process it. You must not provide content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes third-party rights or any law.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI) to produce Generated Content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes, and similar content may be generated for other users. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying any Generated Content before publishing or relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or legality of AI output.

8. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Uses

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

  • process URLs or content you do not have the right to use (e.g. scraping sites without permission or using copyrighted material without authorization);
  • generate content that infringes intellectual property, is defamatory, deceptive, hateful, or unlawful;
  • use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others;
  • circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service;
  • resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent;
  • use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden our systems.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

Our property: Slidix, the slidix.co website, our name, logos, and all underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of them without our permission.

Your content and generated slides: you retain ownership of your User Content. As between you and us, and subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the Generated Content for your own marketing (e.g. posting to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts). We do not claim ownership of your Generated Content.

10. License You Grant Us

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service — including sending content to AI and infrastructure providers, scraping the URLs you submit, storing your projects, and, where you connect TikTok, publishing the slideshows you choose to publish. This license ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except for backups or as required by law.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates third-party providers (e.g. Google, OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, MailerSend, and TikTok). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and do not control them.

12. TikTok Integration

Connecting your TikTok account is optional and requires your explicit authorization via TikTok's OAuth flow. Once connected, you may use Slidix to publish a slideshow to your TikTok account. Slidix only publishes content when you explicitly initiate that action — it does not post automatically or on a schedule. You can disconnect TikTok at any time. Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's terms and community guidelines.

13. Availability and Changes to the Service

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, impose limits, or perform maintenance, with or without notice.

14. Free and Paid Plans, Billing and Cancellation

Slidix may offer free access, subscriptions, and one-time purchases. Many features are metered using credits; consumption rules and prices are shown at checkout and on our pricing page. By purchasing a paid plan or credits, you agree to pay the stated fees.

  • Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
  • Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
  • Trials: if a free trial is offered, your plan starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
  • Refunds: fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated. Mandatory consumer withdrawal rights, where they apply, are not affected.
  • Taxes: you are responsible for any applicable taxes. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

15. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account and access at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 9–11 and 16–19) will survive.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SLIDIX AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slidix and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any User Content or Generated Content you provide or publish.

19. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [COMPETENT COURTS], except where mandatory consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes we may notify you by email or a prominent in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

21. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Slidix regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them without restriction.
